Internship position open at our FALMOUTH & MARTHA’S VINEYARD LOCATIONS. The architectural intern will support the HA Project Manager with assigned design development, design presentation and construction documentation tasks. Student Intern key responsibilities include but aren’t limited to updating CAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections and interior elevations and photo/image editing. Students with physical model and prior internship experience and proficient in SketchUp and Photoshop are preferred.

The Interior Designer will work on a variety of residential projects requiring substantial knowledge of interior design and planning principles, specification preparation, organization, and client relations. Must be experienced in selecting interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and detailing. Candidate will work with project teams and clients to produce, edit, and coordinate interior design schemes and plans.
BS/BA in Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited university, 1-3 years’ high-end residential design experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. Position requires strong verbal/written communication skills, organizational skills, experience working on project teams, client relationships, and ability to generate and read construction documents. NCIDQ desired. The Interior Designer must enjoy working as part of a team as well as working independently.
