She will lead the firm’s interiors studio, guiding its team of designers while working closely with architects, clients and design partners. As Hutker continues to expand and strengthen its interiors practice, Rebecca will help shape the studio’s creative direction, deepen its collaborations and develop new opportunities for the firm’s residential work.

Rebecca’s approach to design began with a foundation in fine arts and an early fascination with sculpture. That appreciation for form, proportion and materials continues to inform her work today. Her award-winning interiors reflect a sensitivity to architecture, an understanding of craftsmanship and a belief that the most meaningful spaces are shaped by the lives lived within them. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest Italia, Surface, Mountain Living, New England Home and Boston Magazine.

“I believe designers should listen closely, interpret with care and design with intention,” says Rebecca. Her process begins with understanding the character of a place and the stories of those who will call it home. From there, she develops a design narrative that carries through every scale, from the proportions of a room to the smallest handcrafted detail. This approach aligns closely with Hutker’s philosophy of creating homes that are deeply personal, connected to place and thoughtfully designed around the way people live.

Prior to joining Hutker Architects, Rebecca spent thirteen years at an acclaimed interdisciplinary design studio in Boston, where she led residential commissions ranging from historic Back Bay townhouses to a mountain residence in Jackson Hole. She also played an important role in mentoring and guiding the studio’s designers. Earlier in her career, nearly a decade in the luxury European furniture industry deepened her understanding of materials, furnishings and lighting. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a Master of Arts in Interior Architecture from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University.

“Our interiors studio has always been an important part of how we think about the home as a whole, and we see tremendous opportunity to continue building on that,” says Mary Rogers, CEO of Hutker Architects. “Rebecca brings a wonderful combination of creative vision, experience and leadership, but just as importantly, she shares our belief that great design begins with understanding people and how they want to live. We’re excited to welcome her to Hutker and look forward to the perspective and energy she’ll bring to our team and the work we do together.”
