As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead and strengthen our HR function, helping us maintain our culture of excellence while supporting strategic business objectives.

  Position Overview:
  The Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing all HR activities within the firm, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development. This role is a key strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring that HR initiatives align with the company’s goals, support our culture, and contribute to our growth. The HR Director will also play a critical role in developing and implementing people strategies that enhance employee engagement and retention in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the firm’s business objectives, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, values, and culture.
    • Partner with the executive team to provide guidance on HR matters, including workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment that drives employee engagement and professional growth.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention:
    • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent, especially in architecture, design, and project management roles.
    • Develop and manage onboarding processes to ensure new hires integrate smoothly and are set up for success.
    • Lead talent retention efforts, including employee recognition programs, career development initiatives, and succession planning.
  • Performance Management & Employee Development:
    • Implement and maintain a performance management system that includes setting performance goals, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
    • Lead professional development and training initiatives that support employee growth and align with the firm’s goals.
    • Coach and mentor managers to ensure they are effective leaders and capable of developing their teams.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Compliance:
    • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and compliant with applicable laws.
    • Lead annual salary reviews and make recommendations to ensure pay equity and retention.
    • Ensure the firm remains compliant with federal, state, and local labor regulations, maintaining all necessary records and reporting.
  • Employee Relations & Culture:
    • Serve as a trusted resource for employees at all levels, fostering open communication and addressing employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
    • Lead initiatives that support the company’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Organize and promote activities and events that reinforce the firm’s positive culture and enhance team cohesion.

   

  Qualifications:
  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.
  7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within the architecture, design, or related industries.
  Strong knowledge of employment laws, compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.
  Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies in a growing organization.
  Demonstrated ability to lead in a fast-paced, creative environment while managing multiple priorities.
