Hutker Architects is thrilled to announce the release of our third book, New England Coastal, Homes That Tell A Story. Published by Monacelli, the book will be on shelves June 12, 2024. Through beautiful photography and engaging text, this book tells the stories of thirteen heirloom homes that encapsulate the fantasy of coastal summers through a modern perspective.
The creative works within this book represents the evolution of Hutker Architects and its design leadership. Deeply rooted in New England vernacular but with a modern sensibility, the book features beach camps with driftwood-hued timber and open-flow rooms; modern, multilevel homes set seamlessly into their landscape; shingle-style dwellings with distilled detailing; and bespoke farmhouses in harmony with tradition but conceived for contemporary living.
