Hutker Architects welcomed members of the Leaders of Design Council (LDC) for lunch and conversation on October 23. The event was part of a 3-day LDC workshop retreat hosted at Autocamp Falmouth which included site visits, ideating and mentoring sessions, and discussions on the future of the design workplace. An outdoor dining experience catered by Fiddlestix of Sandwich and Falmouth’s own Barking Claw Lobster Truck was followed by a presentation on ways that architects and the design industry as a whole can evolve the ‘future of dwelling.’
About the LDC: The Leaders of Design Council seeks to elevate and enhance the value of design. The group achieves its mission by nurturing a robust membership of design leaders with frequent education programs and personal networking opportunities, and one annual international conference. The community includes leaders from architecture, interior design, and landscape design firms, as well as leaders of product, service, and media companies.
