Our firm is proud to announce that Jim Cappuccino, Partner, has been inducted into the New England Design Hall of Fame for 2023. This distinction, recognizing Jim’s many remarkable accomplishments over the years, is an incredible honor that we are thrilled to celebrate.
A Massachusetts native, Jim earned his degree in architecture from Roger Williams University. After graduation, he headed west to Wyoming, where he worked for more than a decade at a leading residential design firm, before returning to New England in 2005 with his wife and young son. He joined the team at Hutker Architects, where he has been a leader in both design and business development, becoming Principal in 2013 and Partner in 2018.
Jim’s work represents a sensitive appreciation for each project’s unique locality and vernacular. When he’s not in the studio, you may often find him traveling, soaking up inspiration to share with his team and his clients. He leads workshops for students studying design and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society of Architects, and the Leaders of Design Council.
Jim, we are grateful for the daily leadership, inspiration, and education you bring to our firm, and to the industry at large. Congratulations!
Many special thanks to New England Home magazine and congratulations to this year’s fellow inductees:
Sea-Dar Construction; Nicole Hogarty of Nicole Hogarty Designs; Frank Shirley of Frank Shirley Architects; and Paula Daher of Daher Interior Design.
