The Grange

Situated in the hills of Stowe, Vermont, this modern farmhouse blends antiquity and newness, a Shaker-like calm of barn-turned-art gallery. Designed as a family refuge, the home offers open rooms and peaceful symmetry. A white color palette, oak flooring, and plastered interior walls pair with rustic exterior features, such as the metal roof and twin sliding barn doors. The central barn serves as the family’s shared living space, with guest suite upstairs, while each wing has its own private domain. Breezeways stand out as connectors to both public and private spaces, putting the natural, meandering view on full display.
